Rusty Gordon, Chief Executive Officer
As chief executive officer, Gordon leads the Knowlagent organization.
Gordon is one of the select members of a new group of senior managers in the systems and software business that have repeated successful business turnabouts, start-ups and acquisitions. Throughout his career, Gordon has balanced his interest in new technologies, process innovations and a pragmatic approach to business that has resulted in exceptional growth for the companies he has founded or led.
Prior to joining Knowlagent, Gordon served as CEO of iFleet, a professional services firm that managed over 1.5 million mobile service events a year.
In 1993, Gordon was named CEO of Automated Design Systems, Inc., (ADS), an Atlanta based company that specialized in the development and implementation of large scale, mission critical client server applications for Fortune 100 companies.
Additionally, Gordon was the founder and CEO of Choice Retail Systems, president of The Retail Alliance and general manager for Retail Sciences and Peachtree Software, a leader in PC-based accounting software, which was acquired by MSA.
Matt McConnell, President and COO
Matt McConnell is President and COO of Knowlagent. When he co-founded Knowlagent it was the formulation of a vision to help clients improve the performance of customer service agents with performance support software and services in 1998. Today, the company is the recognized leader in its market with more than 200,000 agents and supervisors using Knowlagent every day. McConnell is responsible for all the operational functions at Knowlagent, from product development and marketing, to sales and service. He is the author of the book Customer Service at a Crossroads and the holder of several software patents. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
Jay Myer, Vice President of Sales
Jay Myer leads the Knowlagent sales team in its efforts to drive new and recurring revenue growth. With more than 20 years of sales experience with high growth companies, his track record testifies to the success of his entrepreneurial management style stressing company and employee growth. Prior to joining Knowlagent, Myer was VP of Sales with Netuitive where he grew the start-up's sales to include Fortune 500 customers, created an entire sales infrastructure, built an OEM channel and managed over 50 percent quarter-to-quarter revenue growth and customer acquisition. He has held several positions in strategic sales and marketing, corporate communications and business-to-business operations for Synchologic, Headhunter.net, Tivoli Systems, Network Imaging and Legent Corporation. Myer earned a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Florida.
Jean Halaszyn, Director of Finance and Administration
Jean Halaszyn brings more than 20 years of accounting management experience to the Knowlagent team. As director of finance and administration, Jean is responsible for overseeing accounting, finance, and general administrative functions for Knowlagent. Prior to joining Knowlagent in March 2000, Jean worked at eshare Communications, formerly Melita International. While there, she was responsible for the corporate stock program, as well as domestic and international employee compensation administration. Her experience also includes Eagle Creek Travel Gear, where she successfully created and managed an international credit and collections department and was responsible for all financial duties related to the company's foreign subsidiary.
