Giving back to our community is key to Knowlagent's culture. We believe in sharing in our success, as a Company and as individuals. Our various programs are both driven and supported by our employees. Through the generous gifts of our people, we support many programs and projects that strengthen the communities where we live and work.
Foster Care Support Foundation.
The Foster Care Support Foundation was established to give assistance to the children within Georgia's foster care system. This organization, which began in 1996 and became incorporated in April 2000, is the only resource for at-risk foster children within the state. The foundation is entirely managed and staffed through volunteers from surrounding communities, civic groups, businesses, churches and schools.
Knowlagent has been involved with The Foster Care Support Foundation for many years. Knowlagent employees donated over 1,533 new clothing and equipment items to the Foster Care Support Foundation in July 2004. In December 2005, our employees volunteered through various manual labor activities and continue to do so throughout the year. Most recently in February 2005, Knowlagent became the major sponsor of The Foster Care Support Foundation's first gala in February 2005 in which we helped raise $70,000!
