KERRY ENGLE WINS THE 2009 ANNUAL JACK VAUGHAN, JR. HUMAN SERVICES AWARD
The Cobb Community Collaborative Policy Council on Homelessness recognizes local leaders.
Atlanta, GA (November 16, 2009) – On Thursday, November 12th, 2009, the Cobb Community Collaborative Policy Council on Homelessness (PCOH) honored Kerry Engle at the 16th annual Jack Vaughan, Jr. Human Services Award luncheon. The annual awards ceremony recognized nominees from local Cobb Co. businesses and nonprofit organizations.
The Council presented Kerry Engle, volunteer at MUST Ministries, with the award for volunteerism. Kerry works fulltime at Knowlagent, a software company located in Alpharetta, GA. Knowlagent fosters a culture of serving and encourages its employees to serve in their community. The company has also chosen to support the community through MUST Ministries.
Nominees were recognized for their dedication to working with or volunteering with the homeless or people at risk of being homeless, professionalism within the community, collaboration with others and involvement in the community. MUST Ministries nominated Kerry Engle for the work she’s done over the past 3 years in their homeless shelter.
