Knowlagent’s Community Service Program

YOU First

Putting the needs of our community before our own is an integral part of Knowlagent’s culture. Our clients invest in us and in turn, we invest in the community, by dedicating time, money and personally serving – through our partnership with MUST Ministries and other organizations of choice.

A major part of this investment is in employee time. Every Knowlagent employee has five community service days to take each year. Employees use the paid time to volunteer at MUST Ministries or any organization of their choice. These other organizations include: ALS Association of Georgia, Camp Sunshine, D.A.D.S., Downs Syndrome Association of Atlanta and more.

MUST Ministries and Knowlagent

Employees at Knowlagent, from the top down, have worked together since 2008 to serve MUST Ministries, a local non-profit organization in Marietta, Georgia, that provides shelter and services to persons and families in crisis including mentoring programs, day services, food, clothing and financial assistance.

Our relationship with MUST started by serving lunch to the homeless at the organization’s Loaves and Fishes Kitchen one day each quarter. When MUST expanded their walls in 2009, we dedicated additional time to help paint and decorate the shelter.

Beyond serving lunch in 2010, we held quarterly events such as food and clothing drives, raised money to provide bus tickets for MUST recipients, purchased 20 bicycles and also decorated the shelter for the holidays!

And we didn’t stop there – to give back in a bigger way, Knowlagent employees helped build a playground for the children of homeless families temporarily living in the MUST Ministries’ shelter through the Serve@Work program, initiated by High Tech Ministries.

As our third year of community service continues in 2011, Knowlagent looks forward to giving back more to our community through our relationship with MUST Ministries.
