Matt McConnell is chairman, president and CEO of Knowlagent. Matt co-founded Knowlagent in 1995 with a vision of helping clients improve the service that they deliver to their clients by improving the performance of their customer service agents. Today, the company is a leader in its market with more than 200,000 call center agents using Knowlagent every day around the world. Matt is the author of the book Customer Service at a Crossroads and holds eleven software patents. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in industrial and systems engineering.
Don Aquilano joined Blue Chip as a director in 2004, after collaborating with the firm for five years as managing director of Gazelle TechVentures, a $63 million Indianapolis-based venture capital firm targeting early-stage technology investments. Don leads the Blue Chip Software & Services industry practice and has worked with several Blue Chip IV portfolio companies. Before joining Gazelle in 2000, Don was a principal with Fox Group, a private equity and management consulting firm. Prior to Fox, Don worked as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where he co-led engagements involving clinical development and strategy for major pharmaceutical companies and strategy for global telecommunications and IT companies. Don joined the Knowlagent Board of Directors in 2008.
Mark Koulogeorge is a managing general partner of MK Capital. He is also a general partner of The Productivity Fund III and The Productivity Fund IV, totaling over $175 million in committed capital. Mark is a general partner of two other funds that are fully invested and represent over $170 million in committed capital. Prior to founding MK Capital, he served as a managing director of First Analysis Corporation, where he was responsible for coordinating venture capital opportunities. Mark's areas of expertise include enterprise software, outsourcing and marketing services. As a former executive officer of Eagle Industries, a $1.5 billion Sam Zell company, Mark led the company through several merger and acquisition transactions valued in excess of $1 billion. Mark has served on the Knowlagent Board of Directors since 2000.
Mark Morel is chairman and CEO of Whoop, a leading mobile content enabling marketing firm. Prior to joining Whoop, Mark served as president and CEO of Procuri, Inc., a leader in the on-demand supply management marketplace. Prior to Procuri, Mark served as co-founder and chief administrative officer of Just Care, Inc., a private detention healthcare company, and founded and served on the board of directors and as president and COO of Multi-Media Data Systems, a healthcare software development firm. Mark began his career on Wall Street in the investment banking group of Shearson American Express (now Lehman Brothers), where he held various positions, rising to vice president prior to leaving and starting his first company. Mark joined the Knowlagent Board of Directors in 2008.
Don Walker, managing partner of Arbor Partners, served as vice president of sales and senior vice president of sales and marketing at Comshare from 1974 to 1996. During this time, he successfully directed the company through the well-publicized transitions from timesharing to mainframe software and then from mainframe to client/server software. Don is a private investor in several start-up companies including a seed investor in Network Express, which went public in 1994, and serves on the boards of directors for CMS Technologies, Bluespring Software, Bulbs.com, Cohesia, Sircon Corporation and Knowlagent. Don joined the Knowlagent Board of Directors in 2000.
